 Media

It is common for videos and photos to be taken during an assessment or treatment as a way of documenting progress. Occasionally these may be used on the ‘Evie Bennett Veterinary Physiotherapy’ Facebook page. These are normally posts to educate followers and advertise my services. No personal details of the animal or owner will be included in the post. If you do not wish for images or videos of your animals to be used on social media then please let me know.

  Legalities

In accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act of 1966, all animals must be registered with a veterinary surgeon prior to treatment. Any animal that is deemed to be unsound can not be treated unless written consent is given from the registered veterinary surgeon.

By signing the registration form you are confirming that, to the best of your knowledge, the animal for treatment is sound and healthy. Any conditions, either pre-existing or on-going, have been included in the form with necessary details.

If the animal is known to be unsound or suffering from an injury or ailment then a signed veterinary referral form will be required prior to treatment.
